Mark joined Learning Curve following a successful career in the IT and Telecommunications sectors and an MBA. For the last fifteen years Mark has worked and consulted with managers from a wide range of organisations in the private, public and international sectors, improving their effectiveness and developing the leadership skills of their people.
Mark’s favourite questions are “Where are you going?” and “Why should anyone be led by you?” In finding the answer to these questions he helps organisations and their leaders to develop their business strategy and explore how they engage, how they empower and how they influence.
Mark is an Educator for Duke Corporate Education and an Associate at Warwick Business School where he has taught widely on Open (MBA & Diploma) and Executive Education programmes in the UK and internationally.
Mark lives in Yorkshire, close to his beloved Peak District National Park, and is a member of The Yorkshire Trainers Association. He is also a keen and experienced mountaineer and has climbed internationally for many years, including ascents of the highest summit in all but one of the seven continents, reaching the summit of Mount Everest in 2008. Many mountaineers can give a good talk about climbing; few can combine this with learning about leadership and effectiveness.
