Gill’s Business Studies degree, with a Human Resources specialism, provided an excellent starting point for her early career roles in HR and Training functions within large corporate organisations. Her experience of supporting line managers through a wide range of challenging people-management scenarios provides invaluable lessons on her courses. Since joining Learning Curve in 1999, Gill’s keen interest in growing the business has helped secure a number of Learning Curve’s key clients. Her experience here helps bring to life key lessons on the Business Partnering programme – one of Learning Curve’s flagship courses.
She particularly enjoys helping line managers make sense of performance management tools and techniques, as well as developing their skills to use them effectively and confidently. Gill is involved in a number of modular Talent Programmes, giving her the opportunity to build longer term relationships with participants as well as observe their development progress over time, something which she really enjoys.
